Corporate Entity is an experimental work in which clippings are taken from plants belonging to corporations, (or other capitalist entities, such as real estate firms) and then transplanted and grown within my own living space. A clipping is simply a small part of a larger plant which is cut off to be planted elsewhere. The clipping develops new roots, becoming a self-sustaining organism. Clippings are not only genetically identical to the plants they are taken from but, because they do not cease to be alive during the transplantation process, are in fact THE SAME PLANT, now with bodies in two or more distinct locations. This mirrors the growth of capitalist organizations, (which spread iteratively in the form of new buildings/branches/workers) transforming the plant into a literal corporate entity.
